alcuni prodotti mi sono arivati molto lentamente e quello piu ingombrante e costoso non l’hanno proprio spedito!!!!pessimo servizio!
(Google Translate: “I have some products to arrive very slowly and the more cumbersome and expensive just have not sent!! bad service!”)
They do not have everything in Stock.
I have been buying from for the past year and found they were good to purchase from and stocked some interesting items.
I had no problems with them. Normally I expected a delay in delivery. They sold what I expected. And I was happy with their stuff.
But as of today, 18 FEB 11, I cannot log-on to their web site. I’ve been waiting the delivery of an item which I ordered a month ago and so went to log-on to their site. What came up on the screen was the words…”403 Forbidden”.
I contacted PayPal to investigate. This afternoon, the same day, I received an email from DX refunding my money for that item.
I wonder what happened to DX. Have they gone out of business?
I enjoyed their products and whish they were back. Can anybody tell me?
Cheers
Michael from AU
DealXtremeis really untrusted site anymore. Slow delivery, don’t even bother themselfs to answer any complains, if you missed deadline with PayPal then forget about ANY support, you won’t get them.
I’ve ordered several things from there and they have all arrived without issue…sometimes, things take a long time to ship/arrive but you have to expect that, they’re in Hong Kong, not a scam store.
If you didn’t got your package ,you can contact them, i am sure you will get your problem resolved.
they have HUGE variety, but a prices are a bit expensive in comparison to other sites. one major plus is the active forum on their site where you could get valuable info. CONS – site is chaotic, specs are often inaccurate and the delivery is slow slow slow…
Websites you should visit…
I really liked your blog, appreciate the great information….
Ok. I am tired of waiting for the items. I placed and paid for the order on the 24 sept 2011. Paid extra $15 for EMS. today is 21st oct and nothing yet.
I cannot express my frustration to you.. the service has been the biggest joke of the entire planet. the items could have swan across hongkong to australia quicker than so called express post service.
I will NEVER BE USING DX AGAIN. I will do what ever it takes from my stand to tell my friends and family not to use DX.
Hi ,
I Recently ordered a sony ericsson adapter cable and the amount got deducted through secure transaction. Now they asked me to send me the screen shot of the first 6 and last 4 digits of the credit card number and the copy of license/passport. Please help me if this is legal and can the details be given to them or not to have a safe ans secure purchase.
DX used to be cheap, but not nowadays. I found a few items at my local mall that cost the same, a little more and in some cases, even less.
No point buying something online that you have to wait a month for, cannot return (even though they do have a money back return policy, the cost of shipping the product back to Hong Kong makes this option void) and often you get products that have been opened/used.
My tips for buying from online sites in China or HK:
-purchase one item per order
-do not use express delivery options (not much faster if at all)
-do not spend more than $30, higher price = higher risk
-stay away from rechargeable goods (poor quality batteries, especially on RC toys, mobiles and tabs.
-do not pay directly with credit card, use paypal or escrow to protect yourself
-read reviews, be wary of items without reviews
-check you local stores
I ordered some stuff on 21. of January 2012. Some of the items arrived about a week ago, and others, more expensive ones, still didn’t arrive. I’v got tracking codes for the package, and it says it’s still in hongkong. When i bought from them previously, everything was fine, but items were not so expensive. Just some adapters.
Btw, it want take my credit card anymore, for some reason. The card works fine on FocalPrice, but not on dealextreme. It’s the same card i use to pay with before.
